Joanie Slater left a 30 year career in advertising to pursue her passion, working with animals.  She currently lives in Henderson with her husband, a published author (with over 25 books under his belt).  Their home is run by their last rescue dog, Delilah, a 12 yr old Lhasa Mix.  Joanie loves helping people and smooching on the animals.
