Was An AAHA Accredited Practice

Accredited from 2007-2024

Who is AAHA?

“The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is a non-profit organization for companion animal veterinary hospitals. Established in 1933, the association is the only accrediting body for small animal hospitals in the U.S. and Canada.”

Oasis Animal Hospital decided to not renew our AAHA Accreditation June 2024!  Due to rising costs and changes made in how AAHA supports veterinary practices, especially the smaller ones, we feel it is no longer worth the financial cost to continue to pay a big organization that does not really support us.  However, we will continue to maintain the same high standards recommended by AAHA.  The standards are periodically reviewed and updated to ensure they remain consistent with changes in veterinary medicine and technology.
