Who is AAHA?

“The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is a non-profit organization for companion animal veterinary hospitals. Established in 1933, the association is the only accrediting body for small animal hospitals in the U.S. and Canada.”

Oasis Animal Hospital decided to not renew our AAHA Accreditation June 2024!  Due to rising costs and policy changes made at AAHA, we felt that they no longer supports veterinary practices, especially the smaller ones.  However, we will continue to maintain the same high standards recommended by AAHA.  The standards are periodically reviewed and updated to ensure they remain consistent with changes in veterinary medicine and technology.
